Surface Technology

SeaSpine released the Regatta Lateral System, which features NanoMetalene technology.

Here are four details:

1. The minimally invasive lateral interbody fusion system is designed to treat spine conditions through indirect decompression and restoration of sagittal alignment.

2. Regatta comes in various implant sizes to accommodate the patient's anatomy, including 10- and 15-degree lordotic options for sagittal alignment and 18- and 23-milimmeter wide implants for endplate coverage.

3. With the addition of NanoMetalene surface technology, the system is designed to provide implants with a bone-friendly titanium surface on endplates and throughout graft apertures.

4. SeaSpine expects a full commercial launch of Regatta in 2019.
