Nanovis launches FortiCore PLIF after 2,000 successful FortiCore implantations: 4 insights

Nanovis' announced the 2,000th implantation of its FortiCore implant and successful alpha launch of the FortiCore PLIF. 

Here are four things to know.

1. Nanovis is a company focused on developing implant systems designed to reduce fixation related complications and infections.

2. FortiCore TLIF and PLIF implants are designed with deeply porous titanium scaffolds to contact the endplate and a radiolucent, favorable-modulus PEEK core injection molded into the bottom of the scaffold to create a durable construct.

3. The FortiCore PLIF's porous titanium scaffold is interdigitated with a PEEK core.

4. The FortiCore TLIF and PLIF systems are available with MIS or open instrumentation.
