OsteoRemedies launched its Remedy Spectrum GV hip spacer and Spectrum GV bone cement systems.
Four things to know:
1. The Remedy Spectrum GV hip spacer system will provide treatment options with both Gentamicin and Vancomycin.
2. The hip spacers are intended for a maximum of 180 days as an adjunct to total joint replacement in skeletally mature patients.
3. The Spectrum GV bone cement is intended to be used with the hip spacer system.
4. OsteoRemedies showcased the new devices at the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons Annual Meeting in Dallas, Nov. 1-4.
