2 NBA players have surgeries at high-profile orthopedic center in a week

Becker's reported on two NBA players who sought orthopedic care at leading practices within the same week.

Joe Harris of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets had surgery at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery for an arthroscopic procedure. Martin O'Malley, MD, performed the procedure Nov. 29.

Miami Heat player Bam Adebayo had surgery at Los Angeles-based Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb. Steven Shin, MD, performed the surgery Dec. 6.
