Dr. Dawn Mattern named fellow of American Medical Society for Sports Medicine

Dawn Mattern, MD, was named a fellow of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, according to Minot Daily News.

Dr. Mattern, a family practice and sports medicine specialist with Minot, N.D.-based Trinity Health, gained the designation for showing commitment to lifelong learning, professional advancement and leadership.

Dr. Mattern's 20-plus years of experience in sports medicine include serving as team physician for Minot State University and several local high schools. She has treated professional athletes from the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team and the Justin Sports Medical Team, which is a rodeo organization.
