Fernando Peña, MD, repaired the fractured right fibula of Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker, the Minneapolis StarTribune reports.

What you should know:

1. Mr. Zucker broke his leg in a Dec. 15 game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He underwent a procedure Dec. 20.

2. Dr. Peña operated on Mr. Zucker at Tria Orthopaedic Center in Bloomington, Minn.

3. The team expects Mr. Zucker will be out four to six weeks.

4. Dr. Peña is the medical director of clinic services at the surgery center.
