6 sports medicine physicians on the move in October

Here are six sports medicine physicians who recently joined new practices or took on new positions in the past month:

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery welcomed sports medicine surgeon Theodore Blaine, MD, to its medical staff.

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital in Conroe, Texas, recently welcomed Leo Taarea, DO, to its orthopedics and sports medicine department.

Kettering (Ohio) Physician Network Orthopedics & Sports Medicine-Far Oaks Orthopedists welcomed Daniel Luckenbill, MD, to its practice.

Orthopedic surgeon Joel Pranckun, DO, joined Atlanta-based Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute Sports Medicine.

Nonsurgical sports medicine specialist James Presley, MD, joined Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

Torrance Laury, MD, joined Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute Sports Medicine, which has multiple locations throughout Georgia.
