Dr. Glen Ross performed surgery on New York Jets offensive guard Kelechi Osemele's right shoulder despite the team not approving the procedure, the New York Post reports.

What you should know:

2. The Jets fined and then cut Mr. Osemele for missing practice. Mr. Osemele filed a grievance against the team, appealing the fines. The NFL Players Association backs Mr. Osemele.
