USA Synchro partners with TeachAids in nationwide concussion initiative

USA Synchro, the national governing body for synchronized swimming, partnered with TeachAids to promote athlete safety through concussion education, reports Swimming World Magazine.

Three things to know:

1. TeachAids formed CrashCourse to increase awareness of concussions in youth athletes.

2. The program uses technology and interactive features to appeal to youth athletes.

3. USA Synchro will feature CrashCourse content at every major swimming competition to encourage concussion education.

"The safety and well-being of our youth athletes is an integral part of our mission," said Adam Andrasko, CEO of USA Synchro. "We're excited to provide effective and engaging education as presented by CrashCourse to keep our young swimmers healthy and at their best."
