Texas Health breaks ground on $10M sports medicine center — 3 insights

Texas Health broke ground on a new $10 million new sports medicine facility at its Allen campus location in an initiative to improve health and wellness in the community, reports Dallas News.

Three insights:

1. The 31,000-square-foot center will provide the full spectrum of care for sports medicine. It will feature on-site orthopedic specialists and rehabilitation services.

2. The facility is part of a wider $68 million expansion, which is set to double Texas Health Allen's size.

3. The project is expected to be completed next summer.
