Atlanta high school launches new program focusing on sports medicine

The Weber School, a private Jewish high school in Atlanta, is launching a new sports science program this fall, reports AJC.

The Weber Sports Science Academy will feature sports medicine, research methods, sports nutrition and strength and conditioning among other subjects.

A combination of academic curriculum and hands-on learning aims to help prepare students for further study in the areas of sports medicine, physical therapy, fitness and sports management.
