What you should know:

1. Dr. Dahm performed a diagnostic arthroscopic procedure on Robert Covington, who experienced joint swelling after he sustained a bone bruise on his knee Dec. 31, 2018.

2. The operation involved debridement and the removal of loose bodies from the knee.

3. It is unclear when Mr. Covington will be able to return to the court. As of April 1, he had missed 40 consecutive basketball games.
