Richard Gellman, MD, performed a surgery to repair the fractured tibia and fibula of Portland Trail Blazers' center Jusuf Nurkic, the team reports.

1. Mr. Nurkic suffered the injury March 25.
2. The team expects he will make a full recovery but does not have a timetable for his return.
3. Dr. Gellman is an orthopedic surgeon at Portland, Ore.-based Summit Orthopaedics.
4. He earned his medical degree from New Haven, Conn.-based Yale University, completed a residency at University of California, San Francisco and completed a foot and ankle fellowship in Charlotte, N.C.
