Cleveland-based MetroHealth opened a new sports medicine and physical therapy office in Brecksville, Ohio.

Three things to know:

1. Sports medicine specialist Heather Rainey, MD, and a team of physical therapists will see patients at the Brecksville location.

2. The new location is an extension of MetroHealth's Rehabilitation Institute, which offers outpatient physical therapy as well as a sports medicine program.

3. "Our goal is to bring services closer to where our patients are. And there was a need in the southern area of Cuyahoga County for access to sports medicine and physical therapy specialists," said Michael Stern, executive vice president and COO of MetroHealth.
