Arlington-based Texas Health Resources agreed to explore a partnership with Aspire Foundation to create a sports medicine center in North Texas, according to D CEO Healthcare.
Here are four things to know:
1. The Aspire Foundation operates the Aspire Zone sports medicine center in Doha, Qatar.
2. Aspire aims to become a global sports medicine leader in advance of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which Qatar will host.
3. The proposed affiliation would be Aspire's first U.S. venture.
4. Texas Health Resources employs nearly 25,000 people. The nonprofit health system has 28 hospital locations and serves more than seven million residents.
