Mercy Health-Springfield (Ohio) will open a $14 million medical center in Enon, Ohio, that will feature a fast-track sports medicine program, according to the Springfield News-Sun.

Here are three things to know:

1. The new facility will bring Cincinnati-based Mercy Health closer to the Dayton, Ohio, market.

2. The project will be built on a 12-acre site owned by Mercy Health. A dedication ceremony is planned for October 2018, and the facility will open in late 2019.

3. Mercy Health will merge with Baltimore-based Bon Secours to create an $8 billion health system. The deal is expected to close later this year.
