AOSSM transforms brand: The society's new tagline & 5 things to know

The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine touted a new tagline and logo June 5.

Here are five things to know:

1. AOSSM's new tagline is "We Keep You in the Game."

2. The tagline is intended to emphasize the organization's commitment to keeping athletes and active people doing what they love and keeping its members "in the game" through education, research fellowship and communications.

3. Many features of the previous logo were incorporated into the new one, including the color red and the running person.

4. The AOSSM Marketing Task Force spearheaded the rebranding. The team was comprised of a wide range of society members.

5. AOSSM is flaunting its new look on sportsmed.org.

"Two years ago, the AOSSM leadership embarked on a path toward rebranding our society. Through significant research and input from members, industry and the public we've worked hard to define and refine what it means to be a member of AOSSM, including who we are, what we do and why what we do matters," said AOSSM President Charles Bush-Joseph, MD.
