UC Davis Medical Center physicians treat Warriors Patrick McCaw's spine contusion: 3 highlights

San Francisco Warriors guard Patrick McCaw left the game against the Sacramento Kings on a stretcher, according to The Washington Post.

Here are three highlights.

1. Mr. McCaw was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, Calif., after reporting his leg went numb.

2. Physicians determined Mr. McCaw suffered a lumbar spinal contusion. He was released from the hospital April 1.

3. The Warriors expect Mr. McCaw to only miss three games; however, the guard is visiting a spine specialist April 5 for reevaluation.
