Riley Williams III, MD, completed a cartilage restoration procedure on the left knee of Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, MLB reports.

2. Dr. Williams III is an orthopedic surgeon at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.


3. He is a specialist in knee, shoulder and elbow surgery.
