Ground breaks on new sports medicine center: 3 things to know

Orthopedic Sports Medicine

North Georgia city councilmen and Catoosa County commissioner broke group in the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in Ringgold, Ga., the Times Free Press reports.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. The new center will specialize in bone and muscle surgery, non-invasive therapy and rehabilitation.

 

2. After purchasing the lot for $2.55 million in December 2016, the city hopes the center will be complete next year.

 

3. The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics currently has six locations across Tennessee.
