The CORE Institute welcomes Dr. Matthew McCarthy: 3 highlights

The Sports Neurology Clinic at the CORE Institute in Brighton, Mich., welcomed pediatric and sports neurologist Matthew McCarthy, MD.

Here are three highlights:

 

1. Dr. McCarthy has research interests in the diagnosis and management of sports-related concussions, the long-term consequences of concussion and repetitive sub-concussive hits in athletes.

 

2. After earning his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, Dr. McCarthy completed his residency in child neurology at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

 

3. Dr. Jeffery Kutcher, MD, leads the Sports Neurology Clinic, providing patients with concussion diagnosis and management, neurological condition treatment and brain health services.
