Douglas W. Brown, MD, Jesse C. DeLee, MD, and Thomas Wickiewicz, MD, are being inducted into the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine's Hall of Fame.

1. Dr. Brown is a founding member of Orthopaedic Associates of Portland. He previously served as team physician for the U.S. soccer team, traveling with the Men's Olympic and national teams.
2. Dr. DeLee is the founder of the San Antonio-based Nix Hospital Sports Medicine Clinic. Additionally, Dr. DeLee founded the orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
3. Dr. Wickiewicz is an orthopedic surgeon at the New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery. He is a professor of clinical surgery at Weill-Cornell Medical College in New York City and previously served as chief of sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
4. The AOSSM is a global organization representing the interests of orthopedic surgeons and other professionals who provide comprehensive healthcare to treat athletes and active people of all ages.
5. All three inductees are being honored at the group's annual meeting in recognition of their substantial contributions to the sports medicine field.
