Sports medicine professionals attending the Chicago Sports Medicine Symposium have the opportunity to earn CME credits.

Here's what you need to know:

 

1. For the first year a knee cartilage session will be led by Brain Cole, MD, and Adam Yanke, MD, of the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago.

 

2. Other speakers include course directors Anthony Romeo, MD and Nikhil Verma, MD.

 

3. CME credits will be offered to nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapist, primary care practitioners, physician assistants and orthopedic surgeons.

 

4. The symposium will feature national and international surgeons who will discuss advanced treatment for knee, shoulder, elbow, hip and other sports medicine conditions.

 

5. The four-day event will include live surgery broadcasts, interactive workshops, case presentations and panel discussions.
