Here are seven sports medicine physicians who have recently joined hospitals or practices, or gained promotions.

Former orthopedic surgeon for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Daniel Lamar, MD, will now serve as an orthopedic consultant for the Tennessee Titans.


Ashley Zapf, MD, is joining the staff of the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.


Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine recently added Chad Smith, MD, to its staff.


Florida Hospital Physician Group hired Deborah Renelus, MD, CAQSM, to its team.


Michael Messina, MD, joined Valley Forge Orthopedics in Phoenixville, Pa.


Calhoun-based Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine added orthopedic surgeon Chad Smith, MD.


Pen Bay Medical Center hired Jeffrey Rasmussen, MD, to work out of Pen Bay Orthopaedics.
