1. Mr. Calhoun's recovery is expected to take between six to eight weeks. The Angels expect him back in time for 2017 spring training.
2. Dr. Myers is a leading expert on core muscle injuries. He is a surgeon and the founder of the Philadelphia-based Vincera Institute.
3. Dr. Myers has worked with the U.S. National Soccer Team, the Miami Dolphins and various Olympic athletes. He has evaluated athletes from nearly every sport at every level of competition.
4. Dr. Myers has authored and co-authored more than 300 medical publications as well as several textbook chapters.
