Grant D. Shifflett, MD, joined Marina Del Rey, Calif.-based DISC Sports & Spine Center.

 

Ken Smith, MD, was awarded the 2016 Hope Award by the Johnson City, Tenn.-based nonprofit Spine Health Foundation.

 

Richard Guyer, MD, joined St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Teresa Medical's scientific advisory board.

 

The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center welcomed neurosurgeon Basheer Shakir, MD.

 

Raleigh (N.C.) Orthopaedic Clinic welcomed Venu M. Nemani, MD, PhD, to its team.
