Here are four orthopedic surgeons treating professional athletes in August.

Padres pitcher Colin Rea underwent platelet rich plasma treatment after consultation from James Andrews, MD. Dr. Andrews also performed Tommy John surgery on Texas Longhorns infielder Kody Clemens.

 

Robert Anderson, MD, performed ankle surgeon on Houston Texans rookie center Nick Martin and Boston Red Sox's catcher Blake Swihart.

 

Christopher Ahmad, MD, performed Tommy John surgery on New York Yankees' pitchers Nathan Eovaldi and Jacob Lindgren.

 

Yankees' pitcher Conor Mullee's elbow surgery was conducted by Melvin Rosenwasser, MD.
