Keith Meister, MD, examined Texas Rangers third baseman Joey Gallo after he strained his left groin, according to the Star-Telegram.

1. Mr. Gallo was examined at TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in Arlington, Texas.
2. Dr. Meister is the director of TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.
3. Dr. Meister earned his medical degree from Boston University and completed his residency at Boston Medical Center. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Orthopedic & Fracture Clinic of Eugene (Ore.), and another sports medicine fellowship at the Alabama Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham.
