Tom Clanton, MD, team physician for the Houston Rockets, recently performed ankle surgery on the Rockets' Yao Ming, which may end his career, according to a report from The Washington Post.
Mr. Ming underwent surgery last Thursday to repair a stress fracture in his left ankle after only playing five games this season. He will make a decision about whether to continue playing in the NBA during his recovery and rehabilitation process.
