Dr. William Ward to lead Novant Health’s musculoskeletal service line

William G. Ward, MD, joined Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health as physician leader of the musculoskeletal service line in its greater Winston-Salem market, according to a Camel City Dispatch report.

Dr. Ward will also be lead clinician at Novant Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, a new practice.

 

Dr. Ward previously served as chief of the musculoskeletal service line and chair of the department of orthopedic surgery at Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie Clinic and Guthrie Healthcare System. Before that, Dr. Ward served on the faculty of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for more than 20 years in Winston-Salem, according to the report.
