Vertos Medical raises $26M to expand spine procedure

Vertos Medical raised $26 million in Series C funding, the medtech company said June 7.

The funding, led by Norwest Venture Partners, will help commercial expansion of the Mild procedure for lumbar spinal stenosis patients, according to a news release. Funding will also support research and development efforts for chronic lower back pain care.

Zack Scott, MD, a general partner at Northwest Venture Partners, will join Vertos’ board of directors.
