Ms. Cox underwent the procedure following “weeks of debilitating pain,” according to the report. She had degenerative discs in her neck removed during the procedure.

The first lady looks forward to a speedy recovery and resuming her duties soon,” Utah Gov. Spencer Cox’s office said in a statement.
