USPI Honors The Christ Hospital Surgery Center Administrator Michael Galvin

United Surgical Partners International honored The Christ Hospital Surgery Center Administrator Michael Galvin with the 2012 CEO Award, according to a Cincinnati.com report.

Mr. Galvin was among three employees elected nationwide for the honor based on performance benchmarks, enhancing the company’s culture and continued improvement in exceeding customer expectations. The spine-focused surgery center includes complex spinal cases and has logged more than 20,000 procedures since opening in 2007.

In 2012, the surgery center added a third operating room to the center, and is now working toward bringing on Mayfield Clinic neurosurgeons and affiliated pain management specialists. Mr. Galvin previously served as administrator of Far Hills Surgical Center in Dayton, Ohio, Central Baptist-Physicians’ Surgery Center in Lexington, Ky., and manager of finance at Bethesda North Ambulatory Surgery Center in Cincinnati.
