Services at the Lewisburg clinic include tests and diagnostics and onsite imaging, according to a March 11 news release shared with Becker’s. Patients can establish a care plan and get referrals to physicians with UPMC.

“The UPMC Spine Care clinic is a new model for our region designed to support patients in navigating the complexities of the health care system,” Patti Jackson-Gehris, president of UPMC in North Central Pa., said in the release. “By implementing one phone number and one centralized team with integrated nurse navigators, all at one location, we’re improving the patient experience while ensuring ease of access to life-changing care.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
