University of Maryland School of Medicine Appoints Dr. Khalid Kurtom as Assistant Clinical Professor

University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore has appointed Khalid Kurtom, MD, as a clinical assistant professor in the department of neurosurgery.

Dr. Kurtom runs Chesapeake Neurological Surgery in Easton, Md., and has been a part of the medical school’s volunteer faculty since 2012. He focuses on primary and metastatic brain, spinal cord and pituitary tumors as well as cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions and peripheral nerve disease. He is certified by American Board of Neurological Surgery, according to the report.
