UConn Health spine center uses new device during herniated disc surgery

Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health Comprehensive Spine Center used the AnchorKnot Tissue Approximation Kit to repair tissue during a herniated disc surgery.

Anchor Orthopedics developed the AnchorKnot system, which allows surgeons to approximate tissue. Issac Moss, MD, co-director of the center, is believed to be the first surgeon in Connecticut to use the system.
