Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health has opened Spine Care at Arapeen, a clinic focused on treating back, neck and spine conditions through a team-based approach.

The clinic brings together specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics and neurosurgery, according to a July 28 news release by the system. It includes six exam rooms, two procedure suites and on-site X-ray imaging.

The clinic is designed to improve care by making it easier for patients to access multiple types of spine specialists in one place, the release said.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held earlier in July with executives from the health system, including Dan Lundergan, CEO and system COO.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
