Two Neurosurgeons Join UPMC Hamot

J. Brad Bellotte, MD, and Raymond Sekula, MD, both neurosurgeons, have joined the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pa., according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Bellotte previously served as the director of complex spine surgery, neurotrauma and neurosurgical intensive care at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He will become the chief of neurosurgery at UPMC Hamot effective July 1.

Dr. Sekula previously served as the co-director of Allegheny General Hospital’s Center for Cranial Nerve Disorders. He will serve as the director of UPMC Hamot’s cranial nerve disorders program and director of microvascular and skull base neurosurgery.
