The Spine Hospital of Louisiana boosts pain management services: 5 points

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana in Baton Rouge finished the first part of a $5 million expansion effort, according to brproud.

Here are five points:

 

1. The expansion will more than double the hospital’s current pain management services.

 

2. The project will result in two new pain treatment suites, 14 patient bays and 20 more clinical staff members.

 

3. The first phase of the expansion boosted the space and technology for an increasing patient population with acute and chronic neck, back and postsurgical pain.

 

4. The second part of the expansion, set for completion in December, will result in a new operating room.

 

5. Providers utilized the new pain management wing, located on The NeuroMedical Campus, for the first time on Oct. 13.
