Texas spine surgeon completes 2nd fellowship in cosmetic surgery

Steven Cyr, MD, a Mayo Clinic-trained spine surgeon, has completed a second fellowship in cosmetic surgery with Wilbur Hah, MD, president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Three things to know:

1. The fellowship focused on various cosmetic procedures, including augmentations, face lifts and neck lifts.

2. Dr. Cyr has pioneered a new technique he refers to as OrthoSculpting, a high definition liposuction procedure to remove unwanted fat, according to an April 5 news release.

3. Dr. Cyr is founder of San Antonio-based SASpine. He also has a skincare and nutrition line with his wife, LeAnn Cyr.
