Texas health system adds spinal navigation, imaging tech

Wichita Falls, Texas-based United Regional Health Care System added Medtronic’s StealthStation surgical navigation system and the O-Arm imaging tool, CBS affiliate KAUZ reported May 15.

The navigation system is designed to help surgeons increase precision with 3D imaging which can assist with implant placement, reduce blood loss and improve patient recovery.

Paired with the O-Arm, the surgeon can see intraoperative imaging that shows a patient’s anatomy in real time.
