Construction on the $23.6 million sixth floor expansion began in November and added 30 beds and two operating rooms to the hospital.
The new floor focuses on gynecology, urology, bariatrics and spine patients. The center hopes to hire three new bariatric surgeons in the next year.
“The additional space will give us flexibility and help meet the growing needs of patients in Collin and Denton counties,” Brett Lee, president of Texas Health Frisco, told Community Impact.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
