Nashville, Tenn.-based TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital has launched a pediatric neurosurgery program, expanding access to specialized care for children across the region.
The program recently completed its first pediatric endoscopic strip craniectomy on a 3-month-old patient, marking an early clinical milestone, according to an April 28 system news release.
The service is designed to treat complex neurological conditions through specialized evaluation, surgical care and ongoing management. It includes both minimally invasive and traditional approaches.
The program will support patients with conditions including brain and spinal tumors, vascular disorders and congenital neurological conditions.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
