Researchers analyzed lumbar stenosis index, cervical cord compression index and Torg-Pavlov ratio of whole spine MRIs of 93 lumbar stenosis patients. Severe cervical cord compression occurred in 22 cases.
Men between the ages of 70 and 80 with multiple segment lumbar stenosis had statistically significant higher CCI.
