Spine surgeons advise educational site on when to consider disc replacement in 2021

Four spine surgeons advised educational website CentersforArtificialDisc.com about artificial disc replacement as an alternative to spinal fusion in 2021, according to a Dec. 29 news release.

Sanjay Jatana, MD, Craig Humphreys, MD, Michael Rohan Jr., DO, and Maahir Haque, MD, are all featured in the website’s “Back in Motion” guide on artificial disc surgery, the release said. Together, the surgeons explain how the procedure works, what patients should know and how to choose a surgeon.
