Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. John Gorup of Indiana Spine Center

John Gorup, MD, is a spine surgeon and the co-founder of Lafayette-based Indiana Spine Center.

After earning his medical degree from New Orleans-based Tulane University, he completed a residency at New York City-based SUNY Health Sciences Center and a fellowship at Denver-based Lakewood Orthopedic Clinic.

 

Dr. Gorup serves as a consultant for several of the world’s largest spinal implant manufacturers.

 

He performs minimally invasive spine procedures, microdiscectomies and cervical fusions. He specializes in treating degenerative conditions and deformities of the cervical and lumbar spine.
