Spine surgeon hits 500th sacroiliac joint fusion

Andy Kranenburg, MD, of Medford-based Southern Oregon Orthopedics completed his 500th sacroiliac joint fusion case.

The milestone makes Dr. Kranenburg among the world’s most experienced surgeons in SI joint fusion, according to a May 20 news release shared with Becker’s. He uses the iFuse implant at his practice.

Dr. Kranenburg began performing iFuse procedures more than a decade ago.
