Spine surgeon Dr. Rad Payman to expand treatment area: 5 points

Rad Payman, MD, of Advanced Spine Institute will provide spinal care to Tehachapi, Calif., residents through the Bakersfield and Lancaster offices, according to Tehachapi News.

1. Board-certified, Dr. Payman is a spine surgeon specializing in reconstructive cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery.

 

2. He performs spinal fusion, spinal disc replacements and treats spinal stenosis, herniated discs, scoliosis and failed back surgery syndrome, among other conditions.

 

3. Dr. Payman received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.

 

4. After completing training in orthopedic surgery at UCLA, he did a spine fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

 

5. Dr. Payman discussed non-surgical therapies and minimally invasive techniques for the spine on Fox News in Bakersfield.
