Spine surgeon Dr. Mark Dekutoski joins Marshfield Clinic: 3 things to know

Mark Dekutoski, MD, joined the Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire (Wis.) Center’s orthopedic surgery department, the Leader-Telegram reports.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Dr. Dekutoski is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric minimally invasive spine deformity, including scoliosis, kyphosis, spine tumors, spondylolisthesis and disc degeneration.

 

2. Dr. Dekutoski served as an orthopedic surgery instructor at the Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota and consultant and associate professor of orthopedics at the Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, where he was chairman of the orthopedic curriculum, Scoliosis Research Society and AOSpine North America Educational committees.

 

3. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Dekutoski underwent fellowship training at Twin Cities Scoliosis Spine Center at the University of Minnesota.
