Spine speaker spotlight: Dr. John Peloza

John Peloza, MD, of Chesterfield, Mo.-based PelozaSpine, has been a leader in the specialty for more than 20 years.

He’s helped develop technologies including the Serengeti minimally invasive retractor system and the Ravine lateral access system, according to his website. Dr. Peloza built his practice on a foundation of advanced diagnostics, evidence-based medicine and personalized care.

Dr. Peloza has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, contributed to national clinical research trials and is engaged in the development of new spine innovations.

Dr. Peloza earned his medical degree at Chicago-based Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas.
